Diana is a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Social Worker committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards mental wellness. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Diana is committed to breaking down language barriers in mental health care, offering her services to English- and Spanish-speaking individuals and families. Her approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health support. Diana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at lona University in 2011 and furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree from Hunter College in 2012.Diana employs a client-centered approach, incorporating cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT) and mindfulness practices. Prior to joining the Alssaro team, she gained valuable experience providing therapy to adolescents and overseeing the quality of home based services to children and families. This experience has fueled her passion for making mental health services more accessible and inclusive. She strives to create a therapeutic environment that fosters growth, healing, and empowerment. Her ultimate goal is to support her clients in achieving a greater sense of well-being, resilience, and fulfillment in their lives.
