Jayson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He attained his Master of Social Work degree in 2017 from Columbia University. Through his post graduate training in past positions, he learned about using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help people with diverse needs. He has experience working with individuals and groups in areas such as depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, relationships, substance use, and life transitions. His therapeutic style focuses on working collaboratively in a nonjudgmental space towards the goals that you define for yourself through integrating various therapy techniques and genuine empathy. As a therapist, he feels that each person arrives to therapy not only with their unique problem, but their own collection of strengths, supports, beliefs, and life experiences that can all be used creatively to make the changes in themselves that they strive for.
