Kathryne is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She received her Master’s in Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work. Kathryne is experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of backgrounds and needs. She is skilled in Individual, and Family Therapy, Talk Therapy, Play Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a Client-Centered, Strength-Based Approach. Kathryne’s past experience includes assisting clients with Neurocognitive Disorders, Emotional Regulation Disorders, Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma-related to Foster Care, working alongside therapy animals, providing Psychoeducation, as well as major life transition-related anxiety and stressors. She believes that therapy is a working relationship between the therapist and client, that therapy is most beneficial to the client when there is a relationship of mutual respect for the client’s lived experience and external influences such as their culture and community. She recognizes the client’s past experiences as building blocks of their current self, she aims for each client to recognize their own goals and milestones they as they progress through therapy.
