Samantha is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. Samantha obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Siena College and her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Long Island University. Samantha has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment since 2017. Samantha has experience working with adults, teens, and families addressing a variety of mental health challenges including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, self-harm, chemical dependency, and families in crisis. Samantha has worked in a variety of settings such as, inpatient psychiatric hospital, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, public school, and community mental health. Samantha’s diverse experience has provided her with valuable knowledge on working collaboratively with clients to meet their needs, provide individualized care, and navigate towards an overall empowered lifestyle.
