Nicole is a Mental Health Counselor, Limited Permit. She obtained her master’s degree and bachelor’s degree from Mercy College. Nicole has a background in working with at risk youth, children, teens, young adults and adults. She has provided services in both an individual setting as well as a group setting including but not limited to in-patient rehabilitation facilities and client’s homes. Nicole has experience running anxiety groups, parenting groups and mediation/wellness groups. Nicole is bilingual and is able to provide counseling in both English and in Spanish. Nicole specializes in addiction and recovery, anxiety, stress and anger management, family relationships and depression. She has experience with the LGBTQIA+ community and with families who have had ACS/CPS/prevention involvement. Nicole’s approach depends on the client’s needs and comfort level therefore meeting the client where they are in their process takes precedent. Nicole offers genuine positive regard for the client and specializes in using Cognitive Behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy. Her goal is for the client to feel secure in themselves and have a better understanding of their mental health.
