Kristen is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and psychotherapist who graduated from NYU Silver School of Social work in 2017. Kristen is currently a doctoral student at Touro University Worldwide, pursuing a PsyD. In her clinical practice she uses an trauma informed, eclectic approach, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, some of which include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Marriage and Family Therapy. Kristen has experience working with children, adults, older adults, couples and families. Kristen has worked with a variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, grief and loss, domestic violence, sexual abuse, family conflict, and life transitions. As a psychotherapist, Kristen adapts her working methods to the needs of each individual, centered on your life experiences, and will allow possibilities for growth, understanding, and sustainable change. Kristen proactively provides a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and empathetic therapeutic space where you can explore your relationships, careers, and identity.
