Braxton is a Mental Health Counselor, Limited Permit. He received his Master of Education from the University of Florida. He works with kids, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing a number of challenges including: depression, anxiety, OCD, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and life transitions. Braxton’s approach to therapy is described as empathetic, collaborative, and direct. He’s passionate about helping people build connections, gain awareness, and live authentically. Braxton comes from a person-centered approach and draws from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These approaches allow Braxton to meet his clients where they are and provide therapy that meets their individual needs. Braxton’s goal in therapy is to provide a safe space for clients to explore their experiences and build the tools they need to live their life fully.
