Nisha is an EMDR trained trauma-informed therapist and believes that as multi-faceted humans, we hold the stories and experiences of our trauma deeply within our bodies. She received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University. Her approach is collaborative and integrative as there is no one size fits all approach. She strives to always honor her client’s agency and voice along the way. Her work is intersectional, inclusive, and non-judgmental. Nisha uplifts your stories and experiences with a strengths-based approach, centering the skills and resources you have developed in resilience. She uses EMDR, Somatic interventions, Psychodynamic theory, Attachment theory, and Humanistic therapy adjunct to other modalities based on your needs. Her care is social-justice oriented and intersectional, centering your lived experiences, and holding space for every part of you. Nisha can work with you to release limiting beliefs, heal stored trauma, and rebuild your mind and body connection. This journey will be challenging but transformative; with Nisha’s support, you can walk it together as you take back your power.
