Shannel attended Capella University and graduated with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. She believes that everyone experiences life challenges, and it helps to have someone to confide in. Shannel can be that listening ear for her clients. She recognizes that each person’s past and present experiences are unique and should be considered throughout their discussions together. Helping clients understand and cope with their feelings in a healthy way, while making decisions they feel confident in, is important to her. Shannel believes that individuals are only helpful to themselves and others when they are doing well with their overall wellness. Her sessions are client-focused, meaning that she works collaboratively with clients to achieve their therapy goals. Shannel takes pride in collaborating with individuals and couples who seek support during their challenging seasons, and she would love the opportunity to assist in working through those challenges.
